Russian chess master Alexander Petrov composed this puzzle to commemorate Napoleon’s defeat in 1812:

Currently the emperor stands in Moscow, on h7. The goal is to chase him all the way back to Paris and to checkmate him there. The white knights are Cossack cavalry, and the white bishops are Russian partisans. Given these clues, which square represents Paris?
