The Kyaiktiyo pagoda is a Buddhist pilgrimage site in Myanmar. The pagoda, 18 feet tall, purportedly contains a hair of the Buddha. Believers claim that the boulder on which it sits, now completely gilded, has perched like this for 2,500 years, and that a thread can be passed beneath it if it's rocked gently. Let's not find out.
